Named Champions Of Annual KPA Golf Scramble
The Eureka Herald Team Finished 9 Under

Two teams gathered at Terradyne Country Club, in Wichita, last Thursday, June 12, for the sixth annual Kansas Press Association (KPA) four-person scramble.

Claiming the KPA Golf Scramble championship this year was the team from The Eureka Herald.

The team included staff members Lexie Biering and Robin Wunderlich and guests Tracy Chance and Heath Samuels. The Kingman Leader-Courier team was comprised of Jason Jump, Micah Jump, Kory Meireis and Kyle Meireis. The Eureka Herald finished the 18-hole round 9 under par, with a

62 and the Kingman Leader- Courier finished the round 7 under par, with a 64.

The location of the KPA golf scramble in 2026 is to be determined.
