June’s meeting of the Willow Valley Go-Getters 4-H Club was a short one. The club met on June 1 at 7 p.m. at the Hamilton School. After the secretary and treasurer reports, the leaders gave the group a helpful reminder to put in projects for the fair, let the club know about this year’s fair changes, and let the group know to sign up for the club’s trash and building watch times. The club also discussed more about the club’s concessions at the Hamilton Days celebration on June 21. After the meeting concluded, Savannah Bruno-Pelky gave a demonstration on the dog project with her dog, Kira, showing the club a few tricks used in rally and talked about what the dog project is about. Then, Addison Seaton gave an informative project talk about the goat project and told the group all about her baby goats she has at home. After the meeting concluded, the club enjoyed homemade brownies made by Bruno-Pelky paired with a glass of milk.
