A total of 90 contestants competed in a total of 535 entries in the first weekend of the 2025 season of the Top Hand Youth Rodeo Association (THYRA) on May 31 June 1, at Eureka Saddle Club Arena.
All around winners from the weekend were: Senior: Brock Baumgartel and Carter Lawrence Intermediate: Emery Mills and Mayley Decker Junior: Hudson Hupka and Londyn Wente
Peewee: Hayes Schoneberg and Jentri Johnson.
The next THYRA will be this weekend, June 14-15 with other rodeo weekends being held July 5 - 6 and July 26 - 27, with finals being held Aug. 30 31. If inclement weather, a rain date will be held on Sept. 6 - 7.
All Top Hand Youth Rodeo events are held at the Eureka Saddle Club, located at 1427 Q Road, in Eureka.
