Two delegates from the 2025 session of the American Legion Boys State of Kansas have been elected by their peers to represent Kansas Boys State as senators at Boys Nation this summer. The announcement was made during an assembly at Kansas State University in Manhattan.
Tristan Jenkins, a resident of Olathe, and a senior-to-be at Olathe South High School, and Garrett Li, a resident of Overland Park and a senior- to-be at Olathe North High School, will attend Boys Nation, Friday, July 18 through Saturday, July 26, at Marymount University in Arlington, Va. Earlier in the week Li was elected as the Kansas Boys State governor.
