Grand Opening Set for Saturday, June 7 A new creative hub is opening its doors in town on Saturday, June 7, offering local artists and makers a year-round space to share their talents and goods with the community. Warm Heart Market was founded by longtime maker Amanda Boardman, who began crafting handmade items at just 15 years old. The local market marks a new chapter not just for its owner, but for many in the local artisan community.
Although Boardman has been selling handmade goods since 2020 and participating in craft shows since 2021, the goal has always been to build something bigger: a permanent, welcoming space for Kansas- based creators to display and sell their work beyond the seasonal craft fair circuit.
“I wanted to create a place where local makers could sell year-round,” said Boardman. “It’s about supporting each other, growing our businesses, and boosting our local economy.”
The store already features an impressive lineup of seven Kansas vendors, including: Colorful Creations by Cindy Knotts; Picket Fence Designs by Charlene (Custom t-shirts); CooksKrafts by Sarah Cook; Marcy’s Coasters; The Painted Pine Design Co.; 2 Monarchs Designs by Donna Olson; and Warm Heart Creations by Amanda Boardman.
Customers can expect to find a wide range of handmade products, including t-shirts, jewelry, baby items, kitchen accessories, coasters, welcome signs, and various decorative pieces—all made with care by local Kansas artisans. More product offerings are expected as the shop grows. Although hours are subject to change, Boardman is planning to be open: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.; Thursday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The market will be closed Sunday and Monday.
The grand opening for Warm Heart Market will be held this Saturday, June 7, in conjunction with the Eureka Days event. Warm Heart Market is located at 112 N. Main Street, in Eureka. For more information, contact Boardman at [email protected] (Courtesy image)
