Eureka Garden Club -
Several members of the Eureka Garden Club gathered on May 2, at 9 a.m. at the Mini Garden to clean and plant for the season. After working in the garden, members went to TNT Catering for a delicious lunch. Hostesses for the day were the officers; Vicki Lindsey, Risa Russin, Sheila Hughes and Sue McDonald. There were 12 members and one associate member present.
Cheryl Sowder won ‘Hen & Chicks’ in decorated pots and Marilyn Seymour won a textured vase with pink flowers and a pink butterfly decoration as door prizes.
The next meeting will be on Sept. 5 with Sowder and Melinda Nichols as hostesses.
The meeting was adjourned by standing and repeating “The Gardener’s Creed.”
