Greenwood County Hospital (GWCH) announced last week that Kayla Mc-Coy, APRN, will be stepping down from her role in the Wound Care Clinic. Her last day seeing patients will be July 8.
McCoy joined Greenwood County Hospital in 2022.
“We regret that Kayla is leaving the Wound Care Clinic and wish her well in her future endeavors,” said Sandra Dickerson, CEO of GWCH. “We are actively seeking a replacement for Kayla and our focus continues to be ensuring our patients and community have access to and receive excellent healthcare,” she continued.
During the transition, patients will continue to be seen by another qualified provider within the Wound Care Clinic.
“It has been my pleasure serving the community of Greenwood County and Eureka. I will work closely with the hospital to make sure the transition of care is seamless. I wish Greenwood County Hospital continued success with the wound care clinic and I will deeply miss the patients I have had the honor to serve,” said McCoy.
Details regarding Mc-Coy’s replacement will be announced as they become available.
