Named Businesswoman Of The Month-

Eureka Businesswomen met on Tuesday May 6 at TNT Catering in Eureka. There were 15 members and one guest present. The guest was Kayla Stewart who was the businesswoman of the month. Roll call was answered by, “What is your favorite flower?”

Minutes of the last meeting were given and approved at read. The Treasurer’s Report was given and approved as read.

There was no correspondence to be read.

Announcements were made. Tonya Casper will be offering water aerobics at the Eureka Aquatic Park this summer. Water aerobics will start on May 27 and will continue through Aug. 5. They will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. There is a cost for the classes.

Businesswoman of the month, Stewart, was presented with a certificate. Stewart is a stayat- home mom. She is married to Alex and they have 3 children ages 15, 11 and 3. Stewart is operating a virtual assistance business and is also a distributer of Melaleuca products. Melaleuca products are non-toxic and plant-driven natural products, made with essential oils. All products are made in the USA. Melaleuca has been in business for 40 years. They have several products available to choose from; skin care products, laundry products, cleaning supplies, bug spray and other products. Kayla had several items on display for the club to view. Stewart also demonstrated how some of the cleaning products worked.

Lisa Schweda, member and owner of S&L Hardware, brought several items from her store that she has for sale.

A door prize was given to everyone this evening. The club sang “Happy Birthday” to the May and summer birthdays.

Hostesses for the evening were Vicki French and Tami Jackson.

The club closed with the Club Collect.
