Dennis Lynn Pennebaker, 71, died on May 11, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center.
He was born in Emporia, the son of Frank and Virginia (Strahm) Pennebaker in Virgil. The family moved to Eureka in 1961, where Dennis attended grade school, junior high and graduated from in 1971.
After graduation, he went to college at Coffeyville for a short time.
He married Barbara Combs in 1977 at the United Methodist Church.
He worked for Cessna Aircraft and later Beech, where he retired from as a jig and fixture builder.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, Aaron and Ryan; two sisters; and one brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Virginia and one brother.
Memorial service will be held at H20 Church, located at 304 Main St., in Towanda, with Paster Paul Claassen officiating. Private interment will be held at Virgil Cemetery at a later date.
