Three members of the Eureka High School Class of 2025 received special recognition during Senior Day festivities last Friday, May 16, when they were named as the Valedictorians and Salutatorian of the graduating class.
Kimber Ptacek and Cody Johnson were named as the 2025 Valedictorians and Corinne Nelson was named as the 2025 Salutatorian.
These three were also three of nine Eureka High School seniors to complete the Kansas Board of Regents recommended curriculum. Additional details, including special scholarships earned and future plans, can be found on page 7 of this week’s edition.
Ptacek is the daughter of Brendan and Tabitha Ptacek of rural Eureka.
Johnson is the son of Alan and Michelle Johnson of rural Eureka.
Nelson is the daughter of Jamie and Stephanie Nelson of rural Toronto.
