137th Eureka Junior/Senior High School Commencement This Sunday

Members of the Eureka Junior/Senior High School (EJSHS) Class of 2025 will participate in their final events as EJSHS students this week.

On Friday, May 16, the members of the Eureka Class of 2025 will participate in the annual Senior Day assembly, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

On Sunday, May 18, the 41 members of the Class of 2025 will participate in their commencement exercises. The event will begin at 2 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.

Senior Class member Corinne Nelson will give the speech.

The senior ensemble will sing “I’ll always remember you” by Miley Cyrus and the EHS band will perform “The Great Locomotive Chase” arranged by Robert W. Smith.

Special academic honors, as well as scholarships presented during Senior Day, will be included in next week’s edition.
