Things are back to normal in the Willow Valley Go-Getters 4-H club after last month’s joint meeting with Madison Pacesetters. Their monthly meeting was held on Sunday, May 4, at 7 p.m. at the Hamilton School. This month’s meeting kicked off as usual with the Pledge of Allegiance and 4-H pledge. The minutes from the April meeting were read by Molly Dannels and the Treasurer’s report was presented by Savannah Bruno-Pelky. The leader’s report was presented, reminding members of important fair-related dates and fair project changes. It was also noted that the Scholtterback Auction concessions made approximately $350 after expenses were paid.
The club then moved into new business and voted to offer sloppy joes for the Hamilton Days concessions on Saturday, June 21. Once the meeting was over, the club had pizza and breadsticks provided by their leaders.
