WELCA met on May 1 in the Bell Tower Room at the Christ Lutheran Church.
Guest speakers were Jessica Noonan and Jeanna Dunn from Eureka Senior Center. Project on Aging is needing participants for lunches. Fundraisers are planned in the in the future. A garage sale will be held on May 31; donations are welcome.
The business meeting was called to order by Joni Booth who gave devotions, “When God Says No.”
Six members answered roll call with a Bible verse.
Sue Erickson, Secretary, read the minutes of the April 3 meeting.
Rene Wiggins gave the Treasurer’s Report.
New Business included donations to the Hurley Breech Memorial and to the Senior Center.
The June 5 meeting will begin with Grace Stacy giving devotions, program by Joni Booth and Wiggins refreshments.
