Eureka FFA members had a successful trip to Manhattan on Tuesday, May 6, where they competed in Meat Evaluation and Veterinary Science at Kansas State CDE’s.
The Meat Evaluation team consisting of juniors Addison Westerman and Hannah Perrier and seniors Cody Johnson and Corinne Nelson made school history, bringing home the first State Meats Championship.
Individually, the team filled the top three spots with Westerman as champion, Johnson as reserve, and Perrier as third.
