“Help Kristy Heal”

Fundraiser Planned For This Saturday, May 10

A special fundraiser is being planned for Saturday, May 10, to raise funds to assist Kristy Zimmers as she recovers from back surgery.

The event will be held at Lions Park, in Eureka, from 12 to 3 p.m. and will include dinner and activities.

Activities this Saturday include a petting zoo, county firetrucks, kids games, a dunk tank, music, the Sonic mascot and face painting. There will also be a quilt raffle.

Balloon animals will also be available from 1-2 p.m.

Dinner will be a choice of cheeseburger or hot dog plate.

A $10 donation is being asked for the activities and/ or a dinner plate; or attendees can purchase a wrist band for all activities and dinner for $20.

Zimmers underwent back surgery in March and is still recovering. For the past 15 years, she has been a dedicated para-educator at USD 389. She is also a sponsor of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
