Rockin’ Robin!

Each year, Mother’s Day offers us a moment to pause and recognize the women who have shaped us—who’ve held our hands through life’s uncertainties, stitched together our broken hearts, and championed our quietest dreams. It’s a day wrapped in love, gratitude and, sometimes, bittersweet reflection.

At its heart, Mother’s Day is more than a calendar event; it’s a celebration of resilience, tenderness, and the quiet strength found in every bedtime story, packed lunch, and gentle word of encouragement. Whether she’s a biological mom, a grandmother, a guardian, or a woman who stepped into the role when we needed one most, a mother’s influence leaves indelible marks on our lives.

For many, this day is filled with hugs, laughter, and shared memories over brunch or a phone call. For others, it’s marked by a longing—for a mother gone too soon or a relationship that time could not mend. And still, the love remains.

Let this Mother’s Day be an opportunity for us all to show appreciation— to send a note, a call, or a prayer. Let it also be a day of grace for those who feel the weight of absence. Because love, especially a mother’s love, never truly leaves us.

Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing Mother-In-Law, Linda and to my mother in heaven.

Who are you remembering or celebrating this Mother’s Day?
