The Eureka Herald recently announced contest winners for the hidden object search that was featured in the October 16 edition.
With the support of local businesses, The Eureka Herald hid a total of 186 Easter Eggs in the paper.
Cash prizes were awarded to the top three participants in each age category (4-6, 7-9, 10-12 and 13-17 and 18 and over). Following are the results from each age division.
Ages 4-6: No entries submitted.
Ages 7-8: 1st place, Tyrel Wells, 182; 2nd place, Tessa Nutsch, 169; 3rd place, Tyler Wells, 102.
Ages 10-12: 1st place, Tyler Nutsch, 169; 2nd place, Katelyn Nutsch, 168; 3rd place, Sophie Seiter, 162.
Ages 13 and Over: 1st place, Barb Stout, 179; 2nd place, Tammi Burtin, 177; 3rd place, Kara Nutsch, 171.
Practice events are held monthly, with the next prize event being included in the May 16 edition of The Eureka Herald.
“Our primary goal of including these activities is to get children of all ages to pick up the paper,” stated editor Robin Wunderlich. “We want to keep the community informed and why not have fun in the process. We truly appreciate all of our readers,” she continued.
