CANYON, Texas — More than 70 special West Texas A&M (WT) Buffs were honored on April 7 as top student workers at WT, during the annual Student Employees of the Year reception.
Among those being honored was Eureka’s Michael Lehmann, a senior animal science major. Lehmann is slated to graduate in May and return to Eureka, with his wife Rayna (Brandt) to ranch at Trimmell Beef. He is a 2021 graduate of Waverly High School.
Recruiting, retaining and rewarding the best students is a key principle of the University’s long-range plan, WT 125: From the Panhandle to the World.
