Community members were able to celebrate the Easter holiday together with various events.
Festivities began with “Breakfast with the Easter Bunny,” hosted by the Kind Like Kenlee Memorial (KLKM), at Eureka Junior/ Senior High School.

Eureka Honors Club Community Easter Egg Hunt The annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the Eureka Honors Club, with the cooperation of area businesses and individuals, was held this past Saturday, at Marshall Elementary School, due to weather.
The four individual hunts took only a few minutes each, as the children quickly gathered plastic eggs, prize eggs, candy and other goodies.
Youngsters in the 1 through 3 age division and age 4 through kindergarten went first; first, second and third graders followed with the fourth, fifth and sixth graders concluding the festivities.
There was one egg worth $10 in each area (sponsored by Downing’s Inc.), along with 20 $5 eggs and three “prize” eggs. In addition, there were 3,000 plastic eggs each worth 10 cents.
Those finding special prize eggs, included: Ages 1-3: Giant Peep: Barrett Jordan; “Gift Basket:” Sawyer McCoy and Milo Dennis.
Age 4-Kindergarten: Giant Peep: Meredith Samuels; “Gift Basket:” Jaxon Smith and Haisley Eismann.
Grades 1st-3rd: Giant Peep: Briella Sanchez; “Gift Basket:” Benton Barnard and Lily Kern.
Grades 4th-6th: Giant Peep: Landen Eismann; “Gift Basket:” Sophie Granado and Emersyn Smith.
Eureka Nursing Center Community Easter Egg Hunt The Eureka Nursing Center postponed their annual hunt to this Saturday, April 26, at 2 p.m., due to weather.
About The Eureka Honors Club The Eureka Honors Club was organized in the fall of 2015, following the disbandment of the Kiwanis Club of Eureka.
The Eureka Honors Club hosts a community Easter egg hunt, the annual honors banquet as well as creating the community birthday calendars.
