Call to Contractors & Housing Rehabilitation Grant Meeting Slated For Thursday, April 24
Special meetings are slated for Thursday, April 24 regarding the City of Eureka being named the recipient of $300,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for Housing Rehabilitation and Demolition. The project will include substantial rehabilitation of approximately nine hous-es occupied by qualifying low-to-moderate-income families.
All potential contractors interested in bidding and working on the project are encouraged to attend a contractor information meeting on April 24, at 6 p.m.
A second meeting will be held, beginning at 7 p.m., for all potential applicants residing between W. 3rd Street to the North, W. River Street to the South, S. Poplar Street to the West and N. Oak Street to the east.
Both meetings will be held at the Eureka Public Library, located at 606 N. Main St., in Eureka.
