WELCA met on April 3 in the Christ Lutheran Church Bell Tower Room.
Joni Booth called the meeting to order and Rene Wiggins gave devotions. Roll call was answered by eight members with a Bible verse.
Sue Erickson read the minutes from the March 6 meeting. Wiggins gave the Treasurer’s Report.
Correspondence included Thank You notes from Family Life Center, a mosaic for donations and Women of the ELCA convention information in June in Independence, Mo. New program books were disbursed. Erickson presented a bill for $15 for supplies.
A $300 donation was made to the Ministerial Alliance.
Erickson gave the program on Intergenerational Blessings from Luke 1 about Elizabeth and Mary.
The May 1 meeting will be devotions by Camille Frakes, program by Margaret Spires and refreshments by Sue Ellen Wenthe.
The meeting adjourned with the Lord’s Prayer in unison.
Spires served refreshments.
