The Eureka Business Women met on Tuesday, April 1, at TNT Catering. There were 13 members and two guests present. The guests were Amanda Escareno, who was the businesswoman of the month and her husband, Ryan.

Roll call was answered by “What is your favorite Easter candy?”

Minutes of the last meeting were given and approved as read. The treasurer’s report was given and approved as read.

Announcements for the evening were made. Eileen Kinzel reported that she will be moving back to Minnesota due to a family situation. She is sad that she will be leaving the club and no longer be able to attend the monthly meetings. The club wished her well on this new adventure. The Spring Craft show was held on Saturday, April 12.

There was no correspondence to be read.

Businesswoman of the month, A. Escareno, was presented with a certificate. She and her husband, Ryan, own and operate Coffee Stop in Eureka. They moved back to Eureka 10 years ago. The couple has four children. A. Escareno is also a licensed daycare provider in Eureka. The daycare is open Monday-Thursday. The Coffee Stop is open Friday and Saturday. The Coffee Stop is also licensed for mobile sales. They serve premier coffees, iced coffees, diet dirty sodas, dirty sodas, dirty bulls, expresso drinks that are served hot or cold and kids drinks. The dirty drinks are made with cream and flavors They also serve breakfast burritos that R. Escareno oversees. The Coffee Stop is located at 1111 E. River, in Eureka and can be found on Facebook.

A. Escareno also was the program for the evening explaining about the Coffee Stop and the daycare business.

A gift certificate to the Coffee Stop was won by Tami Jackson. There were no April birthdays present.

Hostess for the evening were Ava Jones, Marilee McCoy, Melissa Beitz and Kacey Countryman.

The club closed with the Club Collect.
