Eureka sophomore Mason Hughes claimed hardware on Thursday, April 3, at the Olpe Tournament in Emporia.
Hughes completed the 18hole round with a score of 87. Others participating for Eureka were: Easton Mead 116, Tyson Coon 133 and Jonah Werner 145. Tornado senior John Noll scratched from the tournament.
Eureka opened their season on Monday, March 31 at Caney. Representing the Tornadoes were Hughes 100, Mead 122, Noll 144, Coon 152 and Werner 166.
The Tornadoes will travel to Erie on Monday, April 14, at 1 p.m. Eureka will host their annual tournament on Wednesday, May 16, at 1 p.m.
