The Harmony Sunflowers 4-H Club met for their monthly meeting on March 2, at 4 p.m. at Memorial Hall. This meeting was an exchange meeting with the Fancy Mustangs 4-H Club.
President Chason Gulick called the meeting to order. Eighteen members, three clover buds and two leaders responded to roll call.
Acting secretary Braxtyn Evenson read last month’s minutes, Cody Johnson gave the treasurer’s report. Reports were given to the members on upcoming educational trips and 4-H Days. Leader Mica Coulter shared with members important dates and urged them to check the county newsletter for more dates and important information.
In new business, the club voted to donate $50 to the Eureka SAFE night After Prom committee.
The club also voted and accepted the changes to the constitution and bylaws.
The Fancy Mustangs handled the program. The clubs sang Happy Birthday to the March birthdays. The kids played a game for the parliamentarian tip. The Cox sisters gave a demonstration on how to show a rabbit. The clubs played Musical Chairs for recreation.
The next meeting will be Sunday, April 6, at 6 p.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church with a parents meeting before at 5:30 p.m.
