Eureka High School senior Jace Hardenbrook officially signed his letter of intent to play football for Baker University on Thursday, March 13. The Wildcat football program at Baker is known for its winning culture and success on the field, both of which attracted Hardenbrook to the school.

“What really stood out to me about the college was the winning culture they presented as soon as I walked in. The coaches there are just phenomenal, with a high-scoring offense and fantastic defense— just a great team in general,” stated Hardenbrook.

When asked what he loves most about football, Hardenbrook shared, “There’s a lot to like about football, but what really stuck out to me is the brotherhood you build with your teammates through playing together in tough games.” Hardenbrook’s decision to pursue collegiate football came during the off-season between his junior and senior years. “I never really thought about playing at the next level until then,” he explained.

In addition to his athletic commitments, Hardenbrook plans to major in Sports Administration at Baker University. Looking ahead to the next few years, he sees himself making a big impact on the team. “In two years, I’d see myself being a big part of the team at Baker and continuing a great career. In five years, I hope to be helping coach the team and continuing to climb the coaching ladder.”

Hardenbrook is the son of Nichole Hardenbrook and Thomas Noll, of Severy, and Calin and Christina Hardenbrook, of Geuda Springs. He is the grandson of Rockie and Phyllis Ervin, of Severy and Gary and Linda Hardenbrook, of Douglass.
