Several area student- athletes have recently been awarded post-season honors for their winter athletic performances. Recognized by the 2024-25 Tri-Valley League (TVL) for basketball are: Three Eureka Tornadoes were among the special teams including seniors Laynie Winfrey (1st Team) and Laken Valentine (Honorable Mention) and junior Britta Mongeau (2nd Team).
