Molly Dehlinger, a sixth grader at Marshall Elementary School in Eureka, was named State Champion on Sunday, March 2, at the Knights Of Columbus Free Throw Contest.
Dehlinger, age 12, made 18/25 free throws to claim top honors, in her age division. She competed against five other girls in her division, from across the state.
This is Dehlinger’s third state appearance. She placed third last year and was second at age 10.
She is the daughter of Taylor and Madeline Dehlinger of Eureka.
