Letter ti the Editor

(Editor’s Note: Letters to the Editor are published to encourage our readers to express their views about various issues. The following letter(s) were submitted and signed by those voicing their opinions through the “Letter To The Editor” section) I am sorry for the confusion. A month ago my Facebook account got hacked. I went through all of the instructions Facebook provides to try to retrieve the account. I was unsuccessful. I do not have access to my account, or control of my account.

I looked to see if Facebook has a phone number for customer service. They do not. I looked to see if they have an email for customer service. They do not. I found the address of the Facebook headquarters, and mailed a letter asking for them to delete the account.

Last week I was advised to send a letter to the Kansas Attorney General and the California Attorney General. I have mailed both of those letters.

For the time being I think you will continue to see posts claiming that I am selling bitcoin, selling crop insurance, real estate or selling personal items. Those posts are not coming from me. If you have questions about those posts please do not try to contact me on Facebook messenger. If you have a question about a post you see, my phone number is 316-2596822.

It would be safer to contact me directly over the phone. Facebook messenger is controlled by whoever hacked my account. When you communicate through messenger you are not communicating with me.

This has been a mess. I am trying to resolve the issue and I feel bad that it has been so confusing to so many of you.

Sincerely, Patrick Hough
