How refreshing to have newbies to town! We were blessed to have the students from South Dakota State here at Memorial Hall and throughout our community last Friday. These students are using Eureka as their site for their semester design project. How cool is that?
They took a quick bus tour of Eureka, met with the City administration, visited the museum, they met with the community members that were able to make it to the meeting Friday afternoon and had dinner at a local restaurant. It was a FULL day!
The discussion revolved around the future of Memorial Hall included: Community Space, theater, concerts, a speakeasy and more were at the top of the list of items that they would like to see in this space.
It’s amazing the interest in a 100 year old building in Eureka still has.
