The Eureka businesswomen met on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at TNT Catering. There were 9 members and 1 guest present. The guest was Jayme Lewis, who was the businesswoman of the month.
Roll call was answered by, “Any vacation plans or your dream vacation?”
Minutes of the December meeting were given and approved as read. The treasurer’s report was given and approved as read.
Vicki Lindsey made an announcement that the Health Department is looking for an insurance biller.
There was no correspondence to be read.
Businesswoman of the month, Lewis, was pre- sented with a certificate.
Lewis has lived in Eureka for the past 16 years. She has worked in public health for 15 years. Lewis has a 16-year-old son.
She is currently employed by the Greenwood County Health Dep artment. She began working there in January. Lewis is a registered nurse and is training to take over when Lindsey retires.
There was no program for the evening.
Door prizes were won by Lewis and Mary Ann Thornton.
The club sang Happy Birthday to Lois and Lindsey.
The club closed with the Club Collect.
