Linda Jean Herman, 77, of Eureka, passed away Monday, Dec. 30, 2024 at Greenwood County Hospital surrounded by friends and family. She was born Nov. 6, 1947, in Hawthorne, Calif., the daughter of Earl and Catherine Smith.
Linda grew up in southern California. She married Robert A. Herman III on Oct. 9, 1976, and gave birth to their daughter, Lacy Scarbrough (Herman) in 1978. She and her husband owned their own residential and commercial cleaning business for many years while living in southern California until they moved to Eureka, in Nov. 1999 following their daughter’s move to Eureka in 1996.
