Eureka’s High School wrestling team capped off a busy week with three claiming hardware.
Tornado junior Harlie Owings pinned her way to a championship finish at the fifth annual Eureka Women’s Invitational, while Eureka sophomore Mason Hughes placed third and freshman Killian Harrington placed fifth at the 31st annual Eureka Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 25.
The Tornadoes also battled at the Bluestem Jamboree on Tuesday, Jan.21 and the JV Wrestlepalooza on Friday, Jan. 24.

125: Maela Neill (18-12) lost by fall to Jordan Henry (Rose Hill) 14-13 (Fall 4:47); won by fall over Aimee Kelley (Hillsboro) 4-13 (Fall 3:48); and lost a 2-10 decision to Remi Cain (Clearwater) 19-5.
