Patricia Louise (Clogston) Hill was born July 29, 1932, in Severy, to the late Charles E. and Lillian Irene (Ivey) Clogston. She passed from this life on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, in Sulphur, Okla. at the age of 92 years, 5 months and 12 days. Patricia grew up in Severy, graduating from Severy High School, Class of 1950. She married the late Mike Burke in 1951. To this union were born two sons, Kelly Michael, and Timothy Shane Burke. Early in her married life, Patricia worked on the family farm and devoted her time to raising her two sons. In the early 1970s, she began working as a secretary at Severy High School.
On Oct. 22, 1977, she married John D. “Bud” Hill, making their home in Kingwood, Texas. It was in Kingwood that she began working in the retail banking industry, later retiring as a branch manager. In 2010, she and Bud moved to Davis, Okla. to be closer to family.
