The Eureka Herald recently announced contest winners for the hidden object search that was featured in the Oct. 16 edition.
With the support of local businesses, The Eureka Herald hid a total of 112 witch hats in the paper, with two submitting the exact amount Cash prizes, and goodies, were awarded to the top two participants in each age category (4-6, 7-9, 10-12 and 13-17 and 18 and over). Following are the results from each age division.
Ages 4-6: 1st place, Maliyah Genoble, 112; 2nd place, Karter Hollis, 100.
Ages 7-9: 1st place, Kaydenn Winn, 112; 2nd place, Tessa Nutsch, 110.
Ages 10-12: 1st place, Katelyn Nutsch, 110; 2nd place, Cooper Wunderlich 109.
Ages 13-17: 1st place, Camden Wunderlich, 98.
Ages 18 and over: 1st place, Kara Nutsch, 110; 2nd place, Diane Cole 103.
Practice events are held monthly, with the next prize event being included in the April 17, 2025 edition of The Eureka Herald.
“Our primary goal of including these activities is to get children of all ages to pick up the paper,” stated editor Robin Wunderlich. “We want to keep the community informed and why not have fun in the process. We truly appreciate all of our readers,” she continued.
