Eureka City Fire Station Received Sign Donation

Sign installation over the front entrance to the Eureka City Fire Station was completed on Monday, Feb. 5.

Donning the Fire Rescue emblem, the sign was crafted by Tim Morris utilizing donated materials by Midwest Mill Modernization, and donated to the Fire Department.

Following the completion of needed electrical work to afford for the sign to be lit during evening hours, it was installed by members of the fire department as they convened for their regular meeting last week. “The sign is a great addition to the station and we hope it brings pride not only to the community, but to the department,” said Fire Chief Luke Westerman.

Plans are in place to add, “Eureka Fire Department,” to the building.
